We're making research and technology more accessible

Technology should support research, not limit it. We’re committed to developing tools that streamline data collection, leaving you more time to focus on what matters most - your impact.

A new paradigm

Research, Reimagined

We set out to build tools that would accelerate our own work, then realized their vast potential to transform research. Benjamin, a cognitive neuroscientist, was focused on understanding and modelling how people learn and make decisions in their everyday lives. Wanting to study behaviour in real-world contexts, he turned to extended reality (XR) technology, using immersive simulations to recreate everyday experiences.

Kyla, a clinician and rehabilitation scientist, was deeply troubled by the staggering 17-year delay in translating health research into clinical practice. A major cause of this lag is the reliance on self-report measures, like surveys and interviews, which tell us how people think they behave, not how they actually behave. Determined to address this issue, she became interested in bringing the real world back into research and clinical care.

Seeing an opportunity to reimagine research, Benjamin and Kyla combined their expertise to found SilicoLabs. Our mission is to empower researchers, clinicians, and innovators with accessible tools - closing the gap between ideas and real-world application.
